Government Resolution No. HG822/2023 amending some regulations (in the field of land tenure, irrigation and drainage systems).

Article 10 of the Governmental Decree No. HG707/1993 validating the Regulation on land of industry, transport, communications, defense and other categories of land for specific purposes and the Regulation on the procedure for writing off reclamation systems and transferring irrigated and drained land to the category of non-irrigated land shall be amended to add the following wording: “Irrigation systems are separate hydraulic networks consisting of pumping stations, canals, water pipelines, reservoirs and hydrants, which are used to take water from rivers or reservoirs and supply it to land plot for its irrigation. They also include adjacent land, designed to protect irrigation infrastructure, power transmission lines, access roads, as well as buildings, infrastructure, and other equipment necessary for the operation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems. The irrigation system also includes an adjacent drainage network”.
