Abstract
Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre is a central administrative body subordinate to the Government, having the status of a legal entity of public law, located in the municipality of Chisinau, having a seal with the State Emblem and its name in the state language, as well as treasury accounts and other attributes inherent in a public authority established by law. The Agency ensures the implementation of the state policy in the fields of its competence. The tasks of the Agency at the level of central public administration are to ensure and support the implementation of the goals of the Government Program through the development and implementation of state policy in the field of land relations and land-use planning; development and improvement of degraded land; cadastre and evaluation of real estate; geodesy, topography, photogrammetry, gravimetry, cartography, geoinformatics, engineering surveys, their integration into the processes of economic reform, as well as in the development of special regulations in their areas of activity, also bringing them into line with European standards and norms.
