Abstract
This Governmental Decree establishes hunting season for the period of 2020-2021 for the following game species: (a) wild boars; (b) hares (with the use of special tags for animals, caught after the end of each hunting party); (c) pheasants, geese (white-fronted goose, gray goose), ducks (mallard, gray duck, teal-whistle, common shoveler, teal-cracker, pochard), coots, water hens, pigeons (wood pigeon, collared dove), quails; (d) foxes and jackals (all year round, with the exception of the spring period, throughout territory of the country). Organization of hunting shall be authorized: (1) on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, including public holidays established by legislation: (a) on hunting grounds of public hunting fund, preferably not forested, provided in accordance with the established procedure to the hunters and fishermen associations; (b) on hunting grounds of the state forest fund, administered by Agency "Moldsilva", except for the quiet zones established in these funds; (2) on all days of the week on the land of the state forest fund, provided in use of the Agency "Moldsilva" for hunting, with a preliminary written notification of the beneficiary (tenant) 2 calendar days in advance, addressed to the territorial subdivision of the Agency "Moldsilva", including the Inspectorate for Protection of the Environment; (3) on all days of the week in order to complete the collection of animals for zoological exhibitions (cultural) of the National Museum of Nature and Ethnography, at hunting grounds of the state forest fund in accordance with the rules, approved by the Agency "Moldsilva", with prior notification for 2calendar days of the Environmental Protection Inspectorate; (4) hunting of the following game species shall be prohibited for the entire hunting season: (a) mammals: common deer, sika deer, mouflon, roe deer, elk, badger, otter, marten, ermine, weasel; and (b) birds: partridge, stock-dove and gray dove, European turtle dove, common cuckoo, ibex, spoonbill, stork, crane, red-breasted goose, white-eyed dive, sandpipers, woodcocks, herbalist, seagull, cormorant, egret, pelican, heron, swans, all species of birds of prey, all species of waders and the passerine family, including other species inserted in the Red Book of the Republic of Moldova. This Governmental Decree establishes hunting quotas.
