Law No. 173 amending Law on normative price and procedure of sale and purchase of land (No.1308-XII of 1997), Law No. 1543- XIII on register of immovable property and Law No. 778-XV on geodesy and cartography.

Article 3 of Law on normative price and procedure of sale and purchase of land (No.1308-XII of 1997) states that in the absence of the value indicated in the real estate register, the normative price of the land, calculated according to the Law on normative price and procedure of sale and purchase of land (No.1308-XII of 1997) - the cost of the immovable assets shall be determined according to art. 4 par. (5) of the Law no. 1056/2000 for the implementation of Title VI of the Fiscal Code. Article 101 of the Law No. 1543- XIII on register of immovable property shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 101. Competence of the central authorized body in the field of cadaster. The central cadastral body shall: (a) elaborate, promote and monitor the normative documents and policy documents in the field of cadastre; (b) coordinate the creation and maintenance of the cadastre; (c) establish the procedures for the registration of immovable property and the rights thereon; and (d) perform other tasks related to the cadastre, including the international commitments of the Republic of Moldova in the field of cadaster”. Article 8 of the Law No. 778-XV on geodesy and cartography shall be amended to add the following wording: “Competence of the central authorized body in the field of geodesy, cartography and geoinformatics. The central authorized body responsible for the implementation of state policy in the field of geodesy, cartography and geoinformatics shall: (a) ensure the elaboration and promotion of the unified policy in the aforesaid field; (b) elaborate and examine, as well as, as the case may be, approve, according to the law, the normative acts in the aforesaid field; and (c) accomplish international collaboration in the field”.
