Law No. 60 amending Law No. 728-XIII on fruit growing, Law No. 57-XVI on vine and wine and Law No. 68 “On seeds”.

Article 6 of the Law No. 728-XIII on fruit growing shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 6. Import and export of fruit planting material. Import and export of fruit planting material shall be performed by economic entities registered in accordance with the provisions of the Law No. 68 “On seeds”. Article 7 of the Law No. 57-XVI on vine and wine shall be amended to add the following wording: “In production, only grape varieties inserted in the Catalog of Plant Varieties and/or the Common Catalog of Varieties of the European Union (The Common Catalog of Varieties of Vine) shall be used”. Article 9 of the Law No. 68 “On seeds” shall be amended to add the following wording: “Only seeds of varieties listed in the Catalog of Plant Varieties, Common catalog of varieties of agricultural plants of the European Union (The Common Catalog of Varieties of Agricultural Plant Species), Catalog of vegetable varieties cultures of the European Union (The Catalog of Varieties of Vegetable Species), General catalog of grape varieties of the European Union (The Common Catalog of Varieties of Vine) and/or Information system of planting stock and material for reproduction of fruit plants FRUMATIS (Fruit Reproductive Material Information System) shall be authorized for sowing and use for planting of marketable plantations”.
