Ministerial Decree No. 149 validating the Statute of Peasant Union.

Peasant Union is voluntary socio-political association composed of peasants and inhabitants of rural areas. The main purposes and tasks of Peasant Union shall be: (a) assistance to the promotion of land reform and land tenure; (b) protection of peasants’ rights; (c) soil improvement and rehabilitation; (d) rational use of land; (e) organization of agricultural cooperative.
