Ministerial Decree No. 282 setting differential tariffs and penalties for the infringement of terms and conditions of effluent waste water discharge.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that application of differential tariffs depending upon pollution level of effluent waste water shall increase commitment of enterprises, ministries and departments to reduce the amount of industrial effluent waste water that is discharged into communal sewerage and reduction of its pollution level. This Ministerial Decree establishes that: (a) in case of discharge of industrial effluent waste water into communal sewerage within the established amount and in compliance with the established standards tariffs currently in force set by local self-government shall be applied; (b) in case of discharge of industrial effluent waste water into communal sewerage exceeding the established amount and pollution level differential tariffs shall be applicable calculated in proportion to the amount of excess.
