Ministerial Decree No. 539 validating the Regulation on wine ripening storage facilities.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that wine ripening storage facilities shall be destined for ripening and long-term storage of elite national wines. Only wines and cognacs authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food shall be stored in wine ripening storage facilities. The purpose of setting up wine ripening storage facilities shall be: (a) to carry out comparative degustation; (b) to re-stock elite wines and cognacs; (c) to exhibit elite liquors at the international fairs.
