Ministerial Decree No. 672 validating the Regulation on transportation of hazardous substances through the national territory.

This Ministerial Decree regulates transportation of hazardous substances and sets requirements for the organization, technical support and mitigation of the consequences of possible incidents with a view of the protection of environment, human life and health. It shall be compulsory for all natural and legal persons. Ministry of Transport shall be the authorized state institution in the sphere of transportation of hazardous substances. The list of hazardous substances requiring special transportation terms and conditions shall be validated by the Government. Hazardous substances shall be classified in 11 categories. In case of incident arrangements for the mitigation of the consequences thereof shall be aimed at the protection of human life and health, environmental protection, localization and neutralization of hazardous substances.
