Ministerial Decree No. 801 validating the Regulation on the authorized state institution in the sphere of viticulture and enological practices “Moldova-Vin”.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that “Moldova-Vin” shall be the authorized state institution in the sphere of viticulture, enological practices, winegrowing, manufacturing of wine, alcohol, beer, liquors and beverages. The main tasks of the Institution shall be: (a) elaboration of the state strategy in the sphere of viticulture; (b) quality control of produce; and (c) international cooperation. The main functions of the Institution shall be: (a) implementation of the state policy in the sphere of viticulture, manufacturing and turnover of liquors and beverages; (b) elaboration and implementation of the programs of the development of viticulture sector; (c) organization of exhibitions, seminars, symposia and conferences; (d) monitoring of internal and international wine markets; and (e) elaboration and validation of technical standards for wine industry, including HACCP.
