Abstract
This norm on legal metrology applies to dosimeters, dose rate meters, detectors and meters of ionizing radiation designed to measure kerma and kerma power in air, environment, directed and individual dose equivalents and photon radiation dose rate (as well as exposure dose) with energy from 0.005 MeV up to 3 MeV. This norm is applied when conducting tests for the purpose of type approval, primary, periodic and post-repair verification of radiation measuring devices and equipment. Verification operations are carried out by accredited and authorized laboratories in this field.
