Regulation No. 14 of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources validating the procedure for the issuance of permits for import and export of wild flora and wild fauna species, parts and derivates thereof, and also import, export and re-export of flora and fauna species regulated by CITES.

This Regulation implements the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Import and export of wild flora and wild fauna species shall be carried out by legal and natural persons exclusively in accordance with permits. Artificially grown wild plants and wild animals bred in captivity for commercial purposes shall be also governed by this Regulation. The applicant shall submit to the issuing authority the following documentation: (a) application (Annex 1); (b) authorization for collection of wild flora species and capture, purchase or trade of wild animal species; and (c) copy of dues payment receipt in accordance with tariffs specified in the Annex 2. For export of wildlife products (trophies) the applicant shall submit the following documentation: (a) application (Annex 1); (b) copies of hunting authorization/permit; and (c) copy of dues payment receipt in accordance with tariffs specified in the Annex 7.
