Abstract
This Lawregulates the basic principles of the protection of consumer rights in purchases and other forms of market relations (also for imports).
This text provides for rules related to the protection of economic interests, legal protection, relations between consumers and traders, information and education, consumer association issues. Article 7 defines the trader obligations as regards the notification, labelling and putting on the market of genetically modified foodstuff and animal feed.
The Chapters of this Law are as follows: Basic provisions (I); Protection of economic interests of consumers (II); Unfair practices (III); Protection of consumer rights (IV); Implementation of the consumer protection (V); Administrative and legal protection of consumers (VI); Supervisions (VII); Penalty provisions (VIII); Transitional and final provisions (IX).
