This Crisis management Plan in the event of an outbreak of African swine fever has the purpose to enable the efficient implementation of prescribed measures, rapid and coordinated mobilization of all foreseen resources, thus preventing the spread of the disease and reducing the negative consequences affecting the development of livestock farming and the production of safe food. This Plan further regulates the coordination and organization of operational units for the suppression and eradication of African swine fever throughout the entire epizootiological area. The suppression and eradication of African swine fever in the event of an outbreak of the disease of epizootic proportions will be carried out by state authorities, organizations and the veterinary service through the Operational Headquarters, or municipal teams, which are formed at the local level in the manner established by this Plan.
