Abstract
This Decision, as in accordance with the provisions established by the Montenegrin Water Law and in order to protect the environment, determines all sensitive areas in the water area of the Danube and Adriatic basins present on the territory of Montenegro, where a higher level of wastewater treatment is necessary until the prescribed water quality is reached. Sensitive areas in the water area of the Danube and Adriatic basins are areas that are eutrophic or subject to eutrophication, areas intended for the abstraction of drinking water and other protected areas. The water area of the Danube basin is entirely a basin of a sensitive area. Sensitive areas in the Adriatic basin are:1) Zeta river with tributaries and reservoirs: Liverovići, Krupac, Vrtac and Slano; 2) Captain's Lake and the Morača River with tributaries; 3) Skadar Lake basin with tributaries except Morača; 4) the Bojana river basin; 5) basin of watercourses that flow directly into the Adriatic Sea, except for the river Bojana, including: Grahovo reservoir, areas intended for the abstraction of drinking water, the area of the Lovćen National Park and the Solila Nature Reserve, Bay of Kotor, and coastal sea waters up to the border line from which the width of territorial waters is measured.
