Abstract
This Law regulates the legal status and all necessary standards and requirements for obtaining the integrated water management regarding the waters and related issues on the territory of Montenegro.
The rules and requirements prescribed by this Law are also aimed to regulate the coastal land and water facilities, conditions and terms for water activities and other issues of importance to water management and water resources.
Funds for financing the water management shall be provided in accordance with special laws.
This law applies to: surface water, groundwater and saline water (flowing into the sea); mineral and thermal waters; water resources; sites of drinking water in the territorial sea.
The Law is divided into IX Chapters and 175 articles, including offences and related penalties.
