Abstract
This Law regulates the procedure for reporting and marketing of new and existing chemicals, process for the correct evaluation and risk assessment of chemicals, classification, packaging and labelling of chemicals, import and export issues and rules, and other requirements and technical provisions of importance for the protection of life, human health and environment.
This Law further lists the official classification (groups) of all chemicals on the territory of Montenegro as follows: new chemicals; existing chemicals; EU registered chemicals; EU phase-in chemicals.
The Law is divided into XV Chapters and 79 articles, including the offences and penalties.
