Abstract
This Law establishes the classification, packaging and labelling rules and technical requirements for all chemicals on the territory of Montenegro, trade and market issues, import and export (including the hazardous chemicals) provisions, as well as other issues of great importance for the protection of life, health and environment from various harmful effects of chemicals.
The Law is divided into XI Chapters and 66 articles, including all offences and penalties.

This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, and it will fully apply from 1 March 2013.
