Abstract
This Law regulates the manner of use, protection, conservation, breeding and catch in fishing waters on the territory of the Republic of Montenegro.
The provisions of this Law will also apply to crabs, clams, frogs and other useful water animals (other aquatic fauna) in the fishing waters.
As here defined, the fish and other aquatic fauna are goods of general interest, owned by the state and used in specific manner and under conditions aimed to grant the sustainable use and management.
The Law is divided into XI Chapters and 56 articles, including inspection provisions, offences and related penalties.
