Abstract
This Law regulates the supervision of all products (not food, feed, plants and live animals) on the market conducted by market surveillance and market inspection authorities, sets the general rules for the implementation and undertaking of market surveillance measures and cooperation between local and customs authorities.
The aim of this Law is to ensure that the products delivered to the market meet the requirements of high level of protection of the public interest, and in particular protection of health and safety of consumers, protection of property, environment, health and safety at work, as well as free circulation of goods without unnecessary restrictions or limitations.
This text is divided into VII Chapters, including the offences and penalties (see Chapter VI).
