Abstract
This Law regulates the protection, management and prescribes certain specific measures aimed to conserve natural, cultural and historical area on the territory of the Republic of Montenegro denominated “Kotor”, which as natural heritage is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
These provisions are stipulated in order to preserve the outstanding universal value, as part of the world’s natural and cultural heritage; preserve the authentic natural, historical, urban-architectural, environmental, artistic, aesthetic and landscape values; provide the necessary conditions for a sustainable development and use.
The Law is divided into VI Chapters and 28 articles, including financing, offences and related penalties.
