Abstract
This Order as for the purpose of prevention of the occurrence and early detection of possible introduction of African swine fever virus in domestic pigs, here prescribes specific animal health and sanitary provisions to be implemented (listed in article 1). Holders of swine/pigs are obliged to ensure and regularly implement biosecurity and other measures on farms, as listed in article 2. In addition to the measures referred to in article 2 of this Order, on farms with five or more sows or 50 or more piglets for fattening, a farm biosecurity plan must exist and be implemented, prepared by the farm keeper or owner, in accordance with the instructions and guidelines of the administrative body responsible for veterinary affairs.
