Order prohibiting the import and transit of consignments of poultry, birds and their products in order to prevent the introduction of highly pathogenic avian influenza.

This Order, as in accordance with the Montenegrin Veterinary Law, for the purpose of preventing the introduction of highly pathogenic avian influenza into Montenegro, determines specific prohibitions of import and transit of shipments from countries in which according to the international animal health organizations there is a suspicion, or a confirmed presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza (infected countries, including the transit through the territory of the same), for consignments as listed in article 1 (mainly poultry and birds, live animals, their eggs, semen, deriving product and by-products, fresh and frozen meat, food products). Exceptions are specified in article 3.
