Order prohibiting the use and treatment of animals with certain substances and veterinary medicines.

This Order here prohibits the use of substances listed in article 1 for treatment of animals during breeding intended for human consumption or for the production of products intended for human consumption and their placing on the market for these purposes, as well as veterinary medicines that may endanger human health by remaining in tissues and organs and their products. The use of antimicrobial substances and groups of antimicrobial substances in veterinary medicinal products and in medicated animal feed, as set out in Annex 1 is prohibited. The use in animals of medicinal products for human use containing an antimicrobial substance or group of antimicrobial substances, as set out in Annex 1, is also prohibited.
This order incorporates the point ld. part of point 2c and point 3a from Annex I of the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1644 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council with specific requirements for the performance of official controls on the use of pharmacologically active substances authorised as veterinary medicinal products or as feed additives and of prohibited or unauthorised pharmacologically active substances and residues thereof.
