Abstract
This Pesticide application device monitoring Programme for 2022 determines the perpetrators, the number of devices and checklists for monitoring over pesticide application devices. The goal of the Programme is to check the technical correctness and functionality of devices for the use of pesticides and to check their working parts, in order to set the risk assessment for engaged operator and environment. The Programme has priorities in accordance with the available data on the number of devices for pesticide use and does not include hand or back motor sprayers (without barometer), as well as other similar devices. Priorities are defined, in accordance with the risk analysis, based on evidence of identified irregularities in order to determine actual devices for pesticide use through the use of checklists. This Programme is implemented to: improve the safety of workers who use devices for the use of pesticides, as well as other persons entering or near treated areas, reducing potential risks of environmental pollution and more efficient pest control.
