Abstract
This Post-registration control monitoring Programme for plant protection products for the year 2021, based on the provisions of the Montenegrin Law on plant protection products, determines necessary issues and actions in terms of number and type of samplings, method of sampling, type of testing and checklist for pesticides. The aim of the Programme is to check the correctness of plant protection products in trade and use, on the basis of selected active substances that are authorized for market and/or in use, in order to verify that their physico-chemical properties are in accordance with related registration decisions and applied labels. Any change in a certain plant protection product may lead to a change in the effectiveness of such product and can create an hazard for humans, plants, animals or environment. The Programme aims to identify irregularities and eliminate them, in order to implement timely activities or market withdrawals in order to eliminate potential danger to humans, plants, animals or environment. The obligations, implementation, monitoring and performance of official controls, prescribed by article 68 of Regulation (EC) no. 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market and repealing Council Directive 79/117/EEC are here transposed.
