Abstract
This Montenegrin Program for improving the system for handling and managing waste and for handling of related packaging after the use of pesticides for the year 2024 determines the implementers, number of facilities and checklists for agricultural farms on which pesticides are used, storage, and handling and managing waste, or handling packaging after the use of pesticides. The goal of the Program is to improve the system for handling and managing waste, or for handling packaging after the use of pesticides on agricultural farms.
This text also supports the implementation of the National Plan for sustainable use of plant protection products for the period from 2021 to 2026. This text further transposes the provisions contained in article 13 of the Directive 2009/128/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action to achieve the sustainable use of pesticides.
