Abstract
This Montenegrin Program for monitoring the characteristics of plant nutrition products for the year 2024 determines the operators, number and type of samples, method of sampling and type of testing. The goal of the Program is to verify the correctness of plant nutrition products that are placed on the market and used. Only plant nutrition products with certain characteristics, i.e. with a certain minimum nutrient content, as well as appropriate chemical, physical, physiological and other properties that must correspond to the characteristics specified in the declaration, may be placed on the market. Plant nutrition products may be placed on the market if they meet the requirements, if they are labeled in the prescribed manner and if, when used properly, they do not endanger the health of people, animals, plants and the environment. This text further transposes the provisions contained in the Regulation (EC) No. 2003/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to fertilizers.
