Abstract
This Programme for monitoring the characteristics of plant nutrition products for the year 2021, based on the provisions of the Montenegrin Law on plant nutrition products, determines issues and action regarding the samplers, number and type of samples, method of sampling and type of testing. The goal of the Programme is to check the correctness of plant nutrition products in circulation/placed on the market or imported, in order to verify their physico-chemical properties. Any change in a specific plant nutrition product can lead to a change in its efficacy or pose danger to humans, plants, animals or environment (as well as applications of such products that do not comply with given instructions). The Programme aims to identify irregularities in order to carry out timely activities or withdraw of products that are not corresponding to declared values. The obligations to conduct, monitor and perform off Regulation (EC) No. 2003/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to fertilizers are here transposed.
