Regulation amending the Regulation on conditions for import and transit of equidae.

This Regulation amends certain parts of the Regulation on conditions for import and transit of equidae (originally published in the Official Gazette of Montenegro 21/2017).
Changes are related to the added article 5a, which regards the new type of condition for possible imports of horses for races, competitions and other events after temporary exportation permit that lasts for 30. Nine different conditions are laid down, including several animal sanitary and health premises and animal health certification issues. This added article further determines that temporary imports of horses into Montenegro (for less than 90 days) can be performed if in accordance with the terms of article 5a (paragraph 1, points 1,2, 3, 6, 7 and 8, among other, as listed in paragraph 2).
This text also transposes the provisions of the Commission Decision (93/195/EEC) of 2 February 1993 on animal health conditions and veterinary certification for the re-entry of registered horses for racing, competition and cultural events after temporary export; and of Commission Decision (92/260/EEZ) of 10 April 1992 on animal health conditions and veterinary certification for temporary admission of registered horses.
This Regulation also adds an Annex in relation to possible equidae imports as regulated in newly added article 5a (containing two new samples of related veterinary certificate for importing horses for race, competition and others events after the 30 days of temporary export period).
