Abstract
This Regulation amends certain provisions part of the Regulation on methods of taking food samples and methods of laboratory testing of contaminants in food (Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro 19/2017).
Changes are related to the issues determining the testing over the effective quantities of contaminants (lead, cadmium, mercury, inorganic tin and inorganic arsenic, 3-MCPD and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon-PAH) in food; and sampling for testing over the quantity of contaminants in food (dioxins, dioxin-like PCBs and PCBs that are not similar to dioxins), during official controls and methods of laboratory testing of the same (defined in the Annex).
This Regulation respects the rules contained in the Regulation (EC) No 333/2007 of 28 March 2007 on methods for sampling and methods for the laboratory testing over the levels of trace elements and process contaminants in food; and Commission Regulation (EU) No 589/2014 of 2 June 2014 on sampling methods and analytical methods for control of the amount of dioxin, dioxin-like PCBs and PCBs that are not similar to dioxin in specific foods.
The amended parts of the Annex are an integral part of this publication.
