Abstract
This Regulation sets some basic and general principles (administrative forms, certification forms and contents, transport related documentation) in terms of animal health status and necessary conditions as regards the food safety (food and food products of animal origin).
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Council Directive 2002/99/EC of 16 December 2002 laying down the animal health rules governing the production, processing, distribution and introduction of products of animal origin for human consumption.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
