Regulation on certification of energy characteristics of buildings.

This Regulation establishes the methodology for certifying buildings, reference values for specific energy consumption according to the purpose and type of buildings, the content of the building energy performance certificate, types of buildings that are not certified, as well as the content and method of keeping a register of issued building energy performance certificates. The Certificate form is given in Annex 1 of this text. Parameters for determining the energy class of buildings are given in the table in article 7. Building certification methodology is given in article 8. Contents of the register of issued certificates are listed in article 9.
The energy efficiency indicator is determined in accordance with the regulation establishing the methodology for calculating the energy performance of buildings. The energy efficiency indicators of the reference state are calculated for energy characteristics that correspond to the energy efficiency requirements for the comparative building. The energy class of the building is graphically indicated by an arrow on the energy scale in the Certificate, along with information on the energy efficiency indicator of the related building.
