Abstract
This Regulation here sets the classification, defines the necessary treatment of animal by-products that are not intended for human consumption, and further determines the methods of processing of such by-products and products deriving from by-products.
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 laying down health rules as regards animal by-pro ducts and derived products not intended for human consumption and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1774/2002 (Animal by-products Regulation)).
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
