Abstract
This Regulation determines the conditions for import and transit of live ungulates as regards the territory of the Montenegro.
This text determines that all imports and transit movements of live animals such as ungulates can be performed only if the conditions listed in the article 3 are fully respected (issues on proper animal identification; certification requirements; diseases and vaccination related certifications and requirements; inspection provisions; quarantine measures; and documentation and administrative issues).
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Council Directive 2004/68/EC of 26 April 2004 laying down animal health rules for the importation into and transit through the Community of certain live ungulate animals, amending Directives 90/426/EEC and 92/65/EEC and repealing Directive 72/462/EEC.
The Annex is part of this publication (list of animal ungulate species that are object of these provisions; and list of official criteria on the basis of which an area is considered free from animal diseases, here listed per each type of disease).
