Abstract
This Regulations sets the conditions to be implemented and respected as regards the import and transfer of animals used in circuses and animals that participate in live animal performances.
Some of the conditions here stipulated are related to the issues and animal health status (confirmation of the absence of disease risk; certification) that are listed in article 2 and 3.
This Regulation further transposes the rules contained in the Commission Regulation (EC) No 1739/2005 of 21 October 2005 laying down animal health requirements for the movement of circus animals between Member States.
