Abstract
This Regulation determines the conditions as regards the staff, premises (facilities), technical conditions and equipment for veterinary organizations performing the collection and storage of semen for artificial insemination of bovine animals (semen collection and storage centers) and the conditions for placing on the market of such genetic materials.
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Council Directive 88/407 on the determination of the animal health requirements applicable to trade within the EU and import of deep-frozen semen of domestic animals of the bovine species.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
