Regulation on the designation of protected fishing areas.

This Regulation determines the list of designated Montenegrin protected fishing areas. This text is relevant to the protected fishing areas of internal or inland waters. These areas, with implemented protection regime in relation to the performance of inland fishing activities, are classified as such in relation to the provisions of article 27 of the Law on freshwater fisheries and aquaculture, that sets the rules and tasks for the designation and marking of protected fishing areas.
This text lists the names of municipalities and names of their related rivers, water downstreams or lakes that are been designated as protected fishing areas.
These protected areas shall be characterized by galvanizing red boards/signs with the state logo of Montenegro, to be physically placed on location, that will contain a list of information as follows: the name of the state administration authority responsible for fisheries in that geographical area; the name of the beneficiary of that protected fishing area; the boundary of the protected fishing area with boundaries and distances expressed in metric system.
