Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the detailed rules and conditions for organic crop and animal production, including the necessary conditions for the use of products and substances in organic production (also provisions defining the transitional period/conversion of products to organic products).
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
This Regulation adopts the principles contained in Council Directive 889/2008 (laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control).
