Abstract
This Regulation determines the necessary requirements as regards the eco-design for circulation pumps without seals, including non-seal circulation pumps incorporated in other products. Non-sealing circulating water pump is defined in article 3 that provides the list of technical terms and definitions. Exemptions from application are listed in article 2. Conformity assessment is defined in article 5. For indications on verification over the effective compliance with such technical requirements of eco-design see article 6.
This text transpose the provisions of the Commission Regulation (EC) No 641/2009 of 22 July 2009 implementing Directive 2005/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to eco-design requirements for glandless standalone circulators and glandless circulators integrated in products. The Annex is also part of this publication (Annexes 1, 2 and 3; containing lists of technical requirements; and list of conformity verification requisites).
