Abstract
This Regulation determines the necessary requirements as regards the eco-design for centrifugal pumps for pumping of pure water, which are placed on the market or used, including water pumps incorporated in other products.
Exemptions from application are listed in article 2. Conformity assessment is defined in article 5. For indications on verification over the effective compliance with such technical requirements of eco-design see article 6.
The Annex is also part of this publication (Annexes 1, 2 and 3; containing lists of technical requirements; and list of conformity verification requisites).

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on the eighth day after its publication in the Official Gazette, and it shall start applying from 1 January 2018.

This text transpose the provisions of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 547/2012 of 25 June 2012 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to eco-design requirements for water pumps.
