Abstract
This Regulation determines various issues regarding the integrated pest management.
Integrated pest management is carried out using a rational combination of biological, biotechnological, chemical and other measures for plant production, with limited use of pesticides, necessary to maintain the pest population at a level that does not cause economically unacceptable damage or loss.
Integrated pest management includes measures aimed to protect the plants, through reduced use of plant protection products with the advantage of application of non-chemical methods of plant protection, which are based on agronomic techniques also here stipulated.
This text transposes the rules contained in the article 14 and Annex III of Directive 2009/128 /EC of 21 October 2009 establishing the framework for Community action for achieving the sustainable use of pesticides.
