Abstract
This Regulation hereby defines the official List of animals, products of animal origin and by-products of animal origin that are subject to concrete veterinary inspections at state border inspection posts (listed in the Annex which is an integral part of this publication).
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Commission Decision 2007/275/EC of 17 March 2007 on the list of animals and products subject to controls at border inspection posts and certain provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1251/2008 on the implementation of the Council Directive 2006/88/EC laying down the conditions for the certification and placing on the market and import into the Community of aquaculture animals and products thereof and establishing a list of vector species; Regulation (EC) No 142/2011 laying down rules for the import of animal products and products not intended for human consumption and the implementation of the Council Directive 97/78/EC as regards certain products and articles which are exempt from the veterinary checks at the frontier; and Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009 which prescribes the health rules applicable to products of animal origin and products derived therefrom which are not intended for human consumption.
