Regulation on the manner and deadlines for determining the status of surface waters.

This Regulation prescribes the manner and related deadlines for determining the status of surface waters, including the manner for monitoring over the chemical and ecological status of surface waters, and further setting the list of priority substances and measures to be taken in order to improve the status of surface inland waters present on the territory of Montenegro.
This text also treats the following topics: surface water used for abstraction of water for human consumption; environmental quality standards for chemical status parameters in water and organisms and chemical standards for water status analysis; analysis of long-term trends; Frequency of monitoring the chemical status of surface waters; control and quality assurance of surface water chemical status; methodologies for sampling and evaluating ecological status; control and quality assurance of ecological status of surface waters; monitoring of water for human consumption and in areas of special protection (Natura 2000).
