Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the method for classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals, in full accordance with the global harmonized system of the United Nations, in terms of compliance with general safety rules.
Chemicals or chemical substances, object of this Regulation, are here classified into different hazard classes or groups, based on their particular chemical properties. Issues here defined are transposing the United Nations recommendations on the transport of dangerous goods.
The Annex is part of this publication (classification of chemical substances; criteria and concrete rules for classification and labelling of substances and mixtures; physical hazard related definitions and instructions; additional hazard notifications and precautions; also physical marks/labels that will appear on packaging).
