Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the manner for conducting the phytosanitary inspection, and the conditions and manner of issuance of plant passports, including the form and content of plant passports and also the necessary manner for marking the consignment that is being moved to a destination with a phytosanitary certificate of the exporting country.
This text transposes the rules contained in the Commission Directive 92/105/EEC of 3 December 1992 establishing a degree of standardization for plant passports to be used for the movement of certain plants, plant products or other objects within the Community, and establishing the detailed procedures related to the issuing of such plant passports and the conditions and detailed procedures for their replacement; Commission Directive 2005/17/EC of 2 March 2005 amending certain provisions of Directive 92/105/EEC concerning plant passports; Council Directive 2000/29/EC of 8. May 2000. on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community (article 12, point 1).
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
