Regulation on the manner for maintenance of the register and for issuance of pet passports.

This Regulation defines the necessary rules and standards (ISO standard 3166) to be adopted regarding the issuance (and all related issues) of pet passports (also kept and maintained in electronic form and containing data such as: owner’s full information; serial number of the passport, date of issuance, serial number of the previous passport; name of a pet; date of birth of the pet; pet's race; pet color; info on sterilization and vaccination; eventual history of injures or diseases; and other).
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the articles 6, 17, 21 and 28 of the Council Regulation (EC) 576/2013 of 12 June 2013 on non-commercial movement of pets.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
