Abstract
This Regulation determines the official maximum allowed quantities of undesirable substances that can be present in animal feed.
As here defined, undesirable substance is any substance or product, other than pathogens microorganisms, which is present in and/or on certain animal feed/feedstuff, and that potentially poses danger to animal and/or human health, environment another further threats with other consequential negative effects.
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 May 2002 on undesirable substances in animal feed.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
