Abstract
This Regulation sets the rule that all consignments of aquaculture products intended for human consumption and deriving from India may be imported in order to be placed on the market only if accompanied by report of laboratory tests carried out for analyzing the presence presence of substances such as chloramphenicol, tetracycline, oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline and metabolite-nitrofuran (which shall be performed at the place of origin, on the basis of which a guarantee of no risk to human health is provided).
This text adopts the provisions contained in the Commission Decision 2010/381/EU on emergency measures applicable to consignments of aquaculture products imported from India and intended for human consumption.
