Abstract
This Regulation defines the methods and necessary conditions (in terms of space and animal welfare issues) for breeding wild animals in facilities for controlled breeding (farm).
These farms can grow the following types of game: Fallow deer (Dama dama); Red deer (Cervus elaphus L.); Mouflon (Ovis musimon Pall.); Wild boar (Sus scrofa L.); and Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus L.) and Chamois (Rupicapra L.), in case of acclimatization before being released into nature.
